Factory Creek is a small stream near Blakely in southwest Georgia. It flows toward the Chattahoochee River. There is a colony of R. alabamense in the woods surrounding the creek. A little further downstream, R. prunifolium and R. colemanii thrive. However, today we did not walk far enough to reach R. colemanii. For R. prunifolium this is one of the three most southern localities we know about.
